Intake/Header installation
 

hey new to the forum and was wondering if anyone here know how to install headers or intakes ?? Cz i honestly don't feel like going to the dealership and getting raped !!

Check the diy forum. Which intakes? Im not sure about headers.

Look in the DIY section. There are plenty of intake install how to's. I know Semtex has a header install DIY. Not sure what you are planning with mods but I really wouldnt bother with headers, I dont believe anyone is really getting much out of them. Plus the install is a PAIN IN THE BUTT.

I have done this myself and it is a very easy install. Dont be afraid when people speak of the cutting involved. It is just shaving a little plastic down.

Don't really wanna do it maself I'm afraid i'll mess up... and wat u guys think bout computer programmers/tuners?

There is an excellent diy on the gen3s. Look under tech area in the sticky section. It can be done easily at home.

If you tune you are gonna want to use UpRev.

what do they offer wen it cums to tunes and how is the process?

Uprev has an e-tune service, you data log your car, send it back and they email you a tune. The better option is to go to a shop which specialize in tuning and dyno tune the car after all your bolt ons are installed.

I installed stillen gen 3's myself and I have like zero mechnical experience lol. if you have all the tools its really not hard

i would prefer sum one do it for me so i dnt mess up but if no one can then i'll try it maself. also wat is a good tp and htc ??
