Where did you buy your panel filters?

I'm looking at the AFE filters right now... what's the best place to get them? I assume the 09 and 10 will also fit 2011 correct?

and... why do some of the models say 416 cfm and then the others 550? If it's the same size then wouldn't it flow the same cfm?

Technically the size alone wouldn't dictate flow rate.. the material and density will also impact it but I don't honeslty know specifics about these filters.

I haven't bought either as of yet... i'm pretty sure that i'm going to go with the filters, tubes, everything covered in heatshielding (no, I don't care how much it drops temps... anything is better than nothing) as well as the fang vents for more top end power.

Z! has the K&N's, thats where I got mine. Not sure if they have the AFE's... Why did you choose those vs K&Ns?

Any thoughts or facts about their filtering ability vs. stock paper? I'm a little bit worried about it, as I live in a very dusty area and also often crossing the water in the huge potholes, so it covers the whole car...

Both the dry cotton or oiled cotton materials will filter better than plain paper media. I myself live in one of the driest, sandiest climates in the states, its one of the small reasons I chose the oiled filters as it would have a better chance to get the small debris.
