what to do?

my birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks and my parents are giving me a present should i go with an aam s-line short tail exhaust with a k&n intake or just the invidia gemini exhaust ? what would you guys do ?:ughdance:

I would get the full cat-back exhaust, and get some drop-in K&N panel filters. Just my opinion..

Agree... the full CB will yield better results than just the intake/tails. Intakes don't do much for our cars.

yeah you will be very happy with a full exhaust system

Skip all of that and give Tony at Fast Intentions a call. A much better product with higher numbers, and better sound.

This... the F.I. is an excellent exhaust, and you can basically choose your volume. I have 18" resonators and now it just has a slight rumble at idle now that it's broken in, but just sings with a sweet tone at 3 grand and up.

Was my first choice but where I live my stock exhaust already scrapes roods are that bad

Joe711 10-17-2011 06:33 PM

I also like the sound of th short tails not really looking for that much performance I'm really looking for something loud even noticeable at all speeds

Methodical4u 10-17-2011 06:40 PM

loud is a waste... loud and performs well is another thing. My first mod was the Motordyne ART pipes, which was the best first mod I could have done. INSTANTLY notice the power difference.

Then it won't matter what exhaust you get if that's the case. Tony has redesigned the piping to raise the overall lowest point of his exhaust. If you want, I can take a ruler outside and measure my clearance, even with 1" drop all around for you.
