Which Exhaust is Louder between these two??
I am in the market for a new cat back exhaust. I have narrowed my choices down between the HKS Hi-power and Fast Intentions with 18" resonators and carbon fiber mufflers. Which of these two exhaust are going to be louder. I have heard in person the F.I. but not the HKS. Thanks for the help

Hands down the FI exhaust is louder but not annoying loud. The HKS is quieter at idle and during normal driving, it only comes to life at the higher rpm ranges and it's a sweet sound indeed. Either is a good choice but you have to choose whats right for you.

HKS is more refined at cruise, quieter at idle. FI is all around aggressive and racey! I like the HKS personally but the FI is sweet too.

Check out AK's Video's Thanks for the input. I think im leaning towards hks. I dont want anything to loud and if the hks comes to life only during WOT then thats the one for me. |

HKS plus Berk's is the bomb! plus you don't have as much ground clearance with FI if you're thinking of lowering springs etc.
...but I am biased! lol. Truth is my friends have FI and it is nice but too much drone for me at cruise.

Yea I have heard the F.I. people complain about hwy cruising drone. Right now I have F.I. longtube headers and the factory Nismo cat-back. Im not looking for anything loud just a little less restrictive than what I have now. Who has good pricing on the HKS system??

Now I can maximize your performance with our CBE and virtually eliminate any RASP. The 18" resonators will be the defining factor in this. Now if you want it slightly quieter than go with the SS mufflers opposed to the CF. Either way since you already have headers on the car, you will get some drone however how much is subjective. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me directly... Thank you, Tony

They will not fit given the design of the system.

Haha no doubt man...I'm looking to go with a louder setup for myself. Honestly, I don't think they're is a better exhaust out there than the FI. I think you will be very pleased with SS and 18" resonators. The drone shouldn't be that bad with it and I know lots of people have went back to stock cats and were very happy with no drone.
