I live in the suburbs of Atlanta and I am thinking of getting test pipes, but here in order to renew your tag you need a yearly emissions check which I believe includes a visual inspection. Does this mean I can't get test pipes or longtube headers? Also, going slightly off topic, since it is "illegal" to mess with the cats, I have always been curious about what can happen if I am driving past a cop and he smells the fuel smell from my car as I drive by... can he visually inspect my car for cats and give me a ticket or something?
