Anyway... any experience with this? |

I added my Berk HFCs as my first power adder, installing my G3 intakes a little while after and I noticed the car pulled noticeably harder in the top end. The car also seemed to be more responsive to throttle input but I could clearly feel solid gains from 3krpm on wards.

ok that sounds good... i'm going to pick up a used set here at some point, but I wanted to see what kind of gain I would be able to feel from it. Hopefully not to to long Tony will have his set made and out and we'll see how those do in comparison. I thought many times about the R2C's, and they do well on the 37's, but as i've said before... the G37's front is much more open where the intakes are, and I just don't think they'd get the same kind of power on our Z's.

I took my car to Uprev for a tune. First with just the F.I. LTH and F.I. CBE and got 301hp/246tq then with the car still on the dyno I installed the G3's and got 310hp/252tq.

310 is after installing intake and Uprev tune? Or 310 is after intake, no tune?

Hard to see but: PINK line is LTH/CBE only with no tune just the way I drove it in. BLUE line is LTH/CBE/G3 with no tune. RED line is LTH/CBE/G3/Tune ![]()

yea that right around where I would expect them to be after the exhaust mods. good numbers but to me, not worth the price when compared to the gains from the post MAF tubes, that someone on here dyno'd for an 8 hp difference, with the dry flow filters...

Yeah, but 8 whp is a pretty decent gain man. I mean is it worth it vs a couple hundred? Maybe not... is it worth it if you can find some G3's for 300 or so dollars? IMO yes.

i put g3's on after i had my f.i exhaust and i noticed a slight deeper growl at around 3-4k rpm. they are known to produce power mainly at the top end so thats what you should except.
