Thanks for the comments. I definitely am still learning how to drive this car on that track. The gearing and torque curve are completely different than the car I used to use. I do need to trust the car a little more, I'm just so used to understeer that I don't go into the slow ones fast enough. I shouldnt have to start braking softly to keep the brakes from overheating, they should do what I want them to and if they can't handle what I need them to do, then perhaps they need to be upgraded a little bit.
I tried keeping the car in third, but the revs were dropping too much and I simply can't afford to have that happen since all those low speed corners come before straights. I do think i could keep in 3rd for turn 6 though...maybe.. I'll give it a shot next time, thanks for the advice. |
