Sadly, many cars come factory equipped with that form of DEI. They call it 'EGR' I removed the EGR system from my LS1 and put a catch can on the PCV system, makes for a cleaner intake manifold and cleaner air to burn too.

Same on my LS1. That was one of my first mods. Took a good 15 lbs or so off the front end

Right and you were incorrect. The DS2500s are considered a street/track double duty pad. The DS3000s are a dedicated track pad only.

Not to join your debate, but COBB was a little adventurous calling the DS2500 a track day pad for the GT-R.. it really needs more than that, and most are instantly unhappy with that compound selection for even a non-competition track day. The GT-R is a heavy car..

Like I said, I have used them and many others and they work great for a street pad and when I need them for the track. I don't want to switch them out when I go to the track as they work great for that. HP+ are fade heaven.

This is a nice writeup. I like the videos as well. Def I will move out of were u living if I have to go trough all those bumps everyday

The track is pretty nice, I do gona comment, u gona end up without clutch if u dont trust ur car a lil on the cuves, cause going that fast and downshifting almost 3 gears all the time. Idk maybe thats why u end up without breaks. Learn the track better n ull do great.

But overwall, I love the videos and what u did so far thanks

Thanks for the comments. I definitely am still learning how to drive this car on that track. The gearing and torque curve are completely different than the car I used to use. I do need to trust the car a little more, I'm just so used to understeer that I don't go into the slow ones fast enough. I shouldnt have to start braking softly to keep the brakes from overheating, they should do what I want them to and if they can't handle what I need them to do, then perhaps they need to be upgraded a little bit.

I tried keeping the car in third, but the revs were dropping too much and I simply can't afford to have that happen since all those low speed corners come before straights. I do think i could keep in 3rd for turn 6 though...maybe.. I'll give it a shot next time, thanks for the advice.

RCZ and I have had some brake discussions.. at minimum a good STILLEN/DBA Pillar Vane sport rotor would help with that.. but realistically there is no reason to not go the full distance and step up to an AP Racing BBK..

I think I have him convinced.. we'll see..

With a quality BBK.. stopping is just as fun as accelerating..
