Looking for something that's really quiet...
I have T1R exhaust and now I want something really quiet yet, with good performance gains...
Reason for looking? My parents have stereotypes on loud cars... Back to the topic, is there any exhaust system that gives good gains as well as quiet. T1R is similar to sunline racing exhaust. I've had invidia gemini before, but I want something more quieter than invidia. + I don't have HFC nor TP and I'm not going to put silencer or resonator.

Stick to OEM, almost every aftermarket exhaust is going to increase the volume level even with big resonators, its kind of the point of the aftermarket exhaust.

A lot of guys talked about the OEM Y pipe and how it has a bad air flow, the Nismo exhaust gives more HP obviously and the weird thing my car when it was stock used to be louder than the Nismo lol and I felt that in two Nismos I drove. So an HFCs with the Nismo exhaust should give you a quieter and better performance than the regular exhaust I saw a couple guys wanting to sell their Nismo exhaust and I know a guy that is willing to change his I don't know if he did yet, but I think he did

The Nismo exhaust will give you minimal gains...people usually get it to say, "hey I have the Nismo exhaust."

But it will be quiet and you can find them fairly cheap used. I think about 10hp is the claimed improvement.

I put the Nismo exhaust on my car this year and it was a perfect blend of performance and sound. The exhaust is deeper tone and perceived louder than OEM. The fit is perfect for the 370 chassis. You'll need to adjust the torque on the exhaust bolts to align the muffler tips to the fascia.
It sounds amazing under throttle. As for performance, HP and TQ have increased. I notice the lower end TQ more than anything.

I third looking for a Nismo exhaust. It is surprisingly quiet, quieter than my stock exhaust and Berk HFCs but will still offer you some performance gains and the tips look pretty nice.
