Sounds sick, what exactly is done to the exhaust? Do they just have to take them off? Or do they have to add something to it? Also, is it louder

Sounds sick, what exactly is done to the exhaust? Do they just have to take them off? Or do they have to add something to it? Also, is it louder inside the cabin? Thats what im looking for mainly. Pisses me off that i can hardly hear my exhaust while i am driving
