Question about exhaust?/

does anyone know what the magna-flow exhaust sounds like on the 370? I was going to go with F.I. but found a deal near me for a magna-flow exhaust and AEM air intake. I would be saving like $700 so it does change things, anyone have a clip or know someone who has had it on there z?

Right off of MagnaFlows website..
( Click to show/hide )

Vid quality is low though. Try youtube.

without knowing the numbers... I can tell you that the F.I. is almost certainly going to be MUCH better.

wow duh haha thanks man, and ya I know that but if I can get an exhaust and air intake for under $800 thats a steal, I would be paying almost $1,400 for my F.I. exhaust

But you have to ask yourself what are you looking for? Sound or power or both. If u want cheap and don't care then do maf tubes and drop ins k&n. I don't see what the point of taking something that's a deal money wise that you may regret later or doesn't perform as well as you hoped and end up getting rid of it anyway just to start over again.

:iagree: You get what you pay for man, the invidia is very cheap also but I've heard that in person and I'm so glad I didn't go with that!

F.I. ftw get it right the first time and you'll save money in the long run.

Keep in mind that Magnaflow uses SS409 for their pipes. They only use SS304 on cosmetic parts such as exhaust tips.

When it comes to exhaust, it's a matter of preference OP. You might be happy with the MagnaFlows and hate the FI's. Most people go for the FI's because of the sound and a lot of people like it. That doesn't guarantee you will. There are less expensive alternatives if you only care about numbers.

I think the Stillen or Ark CBE sounds pretty good. I would look into those as an alternative since lightly used setups can usually be had for around $800 and pop up in the for sale section every now and then.
