Default I hate my top speed exhaust tips

Was one of the first members on here to experiment with top speed and eBay y pipe well over a year ago and love it still and think the pair makes for the best sound. Buuuttt, my silver paint, black valence and plain tips just make for a overly bland rear shot even when sparkly clean. And if I plan on adding fog light and carbon diffuser my tips won't be up to speed. Soooo...

IS there any value in going to a reputable muffler shop and cutting the tips off and ordering some rolled stainless burnt tips and having surgery lol. Will this completely destroy the integrity ofthe exhaust in build and sound and look or is this a very easy fix.

Chime in!!!

I do not think so. From my past experience with a Greddy Ti-C, the tips were removable. I think this is also the case with HKS Hi-Power. Those two had screw on tips. I noticed that on my stock Nismo exhaust, the tips seem to have perforations in the inner area which could be additional resonators. Is that the case with the Top Speed exhaust as well?

your not going to destroy the integrity of the system, the sound might change slightly. Most good muffler shops have a large selection of tips they can weld on.
