I was thinking maybe I could steal some wheels off of a shopping cart and mount them to one end, then mount the other end to my rear bumper so that it looks like some sort of wheelie bar.

I can't even think of a reply to that one.

More pics!

The DoubleDown Motorsports 370Z having relations with the Berk 135i.

The midpipe.....

The rear muffler section, the exhaust is a dual exhaust. The 370Z has some unique packing requirements that requires us to package the mufflers this way. There simply isn't enough room to do a / \ config. They need to be stacked in a = configuration.

Y-pipe prototype #1. True dual setup without the H or siamesed X pipe. Those braces are just support braces to hold the y-pipe's pipe spacing. They will not be on the production exhaust. We figured out why some aftermarket exhausts hit that chassis brace. Took some brain storming but we finally figured out what Nissan had designed into the OEM exhaust to keep the exhaust up high in that area.

And the best picture of all..... Broke the head off the tig torch which cut work short today. Gotta pick one up tomorrow morning.....

Ahhh I'm at work and can't see the pics...DAMN!! I'm pretty stoked to see how this all pans out. If it yields the same or more hp as Stillen and sounds deep without any drone or rasp, I'm going with Berk for the CBE and HFC!

How is the weight of this exhaust adding up? Slightly less, significantly less?

The Borla will be made with a slightly different sound to it and uses really expensive raw materials which usually raises the price.
I thought Berk was using mild steel for the fabrication, and then when the dimensions are correct, they will be producing the final version of the exhaust in 304SS?

Berk, care to hop in here?

Darn was hoping for the \/ type muffler position out the back for that aggressive look.. Other makes are doing it? Maybe I'm confused.

Yeah I think GTM is offering that configuration.

I personally like the parallel setup, so I'm still all thumbs up!

+1, plus its a bit more aerodynamic than the \/ setup. The \/ setup essentially makes your rear bumper a parachute lol. Not saying that the parallel setup is crazy aerodynamic, but its more so than the \/ setup. Every little bit counts .
