Update:
Here is a photo on the progress with the front part of the exhaust that bolts to the cats. They are still not sure if they are going true dual, h-pipe, or x-pipe, but they should know that very soon. They are also hoping to have a full functional prototype done by Friday.

They haven't said anything about it, but I can ask.

Absolutely! The exhaust must have the flex sections installed in order to compensate for engine movement and twist.
If you look closely at the picture I already have the position marked on the jig where the flex will go. A side note: During the R&D process you mock up the exhaust systems as rigid piece, then add the flex last. If you have the flex in there now the pipes will kind of flop around in there.

nice updates guys...
hey berk, how will you guys know which setup to use (true dual, h-pipe, or x-pipe) what will be the deciding factor? will you guys do mock ups of all three types and dyno each to see what gets the best results?

+1. I hope Berk ignores the hype and simply goes with whichever design yields the most gains. I'm ready to try something new (if it gains more than the Stillen).

When I finally decide which exhaust to go with, gains will have been the most important factor for me. Hopefully they can do some HP magic and given Stillen a run for their money. Competition breeds excellence |
