Is there any proof that the stillen makes more power and runs faster down the 1/4 mile than the JWT popchargers? I don't mind spending the money again if ill

popchargers vs. stillen gen 3
Is there any proof that the stillen makes more power and runs faster down the 1/4 mile than the JWT popchargers? I don't mind spending the money again if ill see a gain but if not then ill save the money for a tune.

Basically just a chrome tube ending with an open filter in the factory location. Nothing special.

The G37's seem to respond better to those types of systems because of how much more open they are in the front, so if it made a BIG difference then i'd be quite surprised.

The Stillen system will pull in cold air while the pop charger will initially pull in cold air but the moment the engine bay warms up you will be sucking in hot air.

Agree with what everyone here says, G3's are the best for top end.
If you are gonna spend $300 on the JWT pop chargers (a waste imo) you are better off dropping $200 on some K&N drop-in panels and silicone post-MAF tubes. Next best thing to Stillen/Injen CAI's.

The 2 quickist cars in the 1/4 mile are Jnaut, 12.24 and Z Eliminator 12.42.
J's is a 6MT and Z's is a 7AT. we both run the stillen G3 . Mine made 20 rwhp with the bumper on the car on the stock nissan fuel curve/ and thats SAE rwhp. Z

I can't agree with everyone here... the R2C's made the same power as the G3's on a G37 and they aren't true CAI's... sadly, there isn't a dyno of them on the 370z. I don't think it would make the same power.

I'm happy with my R2C's. No dyno right now but will be doing one in late September.

well THANK YOU!!! about time someone did one... although I know it's expensive to get the parts and dyno them.. reps for that, PLEASE PLEASE post the results. It's such a nice system, i'd love to believe that it does well with power.

There's a thread on myg37.com comparing stillen and the r2c.
