I know the first mod usually gives the most gains and everything diminishes after that. Also, would these interfere in any way if I wanted to do the Fast Intentions Exhaust in the future or maybe the Stillen g3 intakes?
Motordyne is also coming out with a new exhaust for the 370z. Tony (who is oddly enough the F.I. guy's name as well) is a really good guy... he's busy with his exhaust, but I called him on a Sunday or all times and he was there. I think they have specials on the first of the month with free shipping.

The F.I. long tube headers (LTH's) are a very good mod, but in the area you live in, sometimes it's best to just have either a HFC or test pipe and that way it can be switched out and tested. A LTH set wouldn't be NEARLY as easy.

Keep in mind with any TP or HFC though that many shops won't take off stock cats, as they can be fined large amounts of money for that. If you have any mechanical knowledge I would suggest doing it yourself, but then again, there should be someone here that's from your area that can suggest someone to do the job. It's not a fun job... but once you do it once and with the correct tools it's not difficult at all.

I live in Asia land, (San Gabriel Valley). I don't expect to have any problems findgng someone to do something that they are not exactly supposed to if they are paid, haha.

disclaimer: I am asian, makes sense I am in Asia land, haha

Also, my friend mods his car a lot and can help out if needed or recommend a place to me since he's pretty busy with work

Well there you have it man, go with it.

The F.I. exhaust is the one i'm looking at, but I am waiting for Motordyne's exhaust which I believe will up the torque on the car more than the other exhausts. No harm in waiting anyway IMO.

I just finished breaking the engine in but have been too busy with work to really give her a proper drive so I want to see how it is stock first and get a feel for if I really want to do the mods. Surprisingly enough, my tuner friend who's currently thinking of getting an f-1 car is the one suggesting I do that before jumping onto mods. I like the FI exhaust in the vids I've seen, though. Going to try to make it out to the socal meet sometime to hear it in person though. The ART pipes seem like a great choice though for a total undercover mod with some nice usable power gains.

Thanks!

Also, my gf is against mods, haha, but from your description, she shouldn't notice the ART pipes. The exhaust is a bit tougher to hide...

You'll hear the ART pipes more than stock exhaust, but once you get about 1500 miles on them, they will be fully broken in and much more quiet, though IMO they aren't loud at first... everyone has their opinion of what loud is anyway.
