Need some info & advice
Hi guys, I am very new to the Z community, so am still learning about the 370Z. I still am waiting for my car which should be with me by next weekend !!
I don't want to turn this thread into another "Which Exhaust should I buy ?" but just want some input from the fellow members !! I have pretty much decided to get the Invidia as it is cheaper but of course not bad quality !! My main motive to change the exhaust is to make the car sound right and make it's presence felt but without making it too fake sounding or you know out of the ordinary !! Any exhaust I import to India will cost me $400 shipping + 30% Customs Duty thats why I am looking into Invidia !! (I am getting a cheap price of $750) Also the ground clearance is a big issue, as the roads are not too good at some places in my town so I cant risk putting something like HKS or F.I. as its is too low. So some questions in my mind : 1. Is it ok to change the exhaust on a new car or should I wait a bit ? 2. Is the Invidia Gemini the right choice when it comes to getting a good sound and of course the ground clearance issue ? 3. Also please give your views on my decision !! Thanks Omar |

The invidia's clearance is about the same as the stock exhaust, if not better. I would not worry about scraping at all.
No issue with installing it right away. I have an invidia and love it, so I think it's a great call. |

The Invidia is a good choice... nice sounding exhaust for the money for sure. If you aren't looking for every single bit of power out of an exhaust then that makes it an even better choice... it gives it a nice little bump in power, but there are exhausts that make less and some that make more. Shop around and ask some companies, some may be willing to give you an even better price because of your location, companies like to get their products to all kinds of places.
