On another note, the amount of gas this car sucks up is horrible as a dd. a sad thing that Nissan didn't integrate direct fuel injection into the engine. Even the genesis has it
I averaged 27MPG driving 100MPH on my way down to Florida earlier this month. Living there now, I average 26MPG overall. Definitely not a gas guzzler to me. My 2013 Nissan Altima rental 2 months ago was averaging 30MPG overall in Florida. 4MPG compromise is nothing if you ask me.

The problem is that the Z is not a congested big-city car, especially not for NYC. You really begin to appreciate the car soooooo much once it's in a state like Florida. I used to average 17MPG in NYC.

Christ...what part of Texas do you live in? Is your car modded without a tune, by any chance?

I'm in Orange County, FL (about 20 miles west of Orlando), and there is virtually no congestion here. But yeah, I got just around 425 miles per tank on my drive down, and I was driving really quick.

I'm in dfw, not too much congestion. 40 highway 60 city.
The best i get is 360 miles to the tank combined, 440 straight highway.

On second thought, you actually might be right about it. I forgot I have a nismo exhaust which is tad louder. But I still disagree with the "chewbacca sounds of the g35/350" Lol.

I agree with OP, G37 exhaust differs from 370Z.

The 350 and g35 exhausts sound awesome stock. Sporty and distinctive. The g37 is one step down and 370 sounds kinda like a Camry/Accord/insert family car here.

For the record, the G37 vs 370Z sound difference is due to the resonator and muffler difference. They use the same exact Y pipe, mid pipe is about 6" longer, and the muffler can be swapped without any problems but the tips stick out an extra 2" or so. So if anyone wants the G37 sound, swap out the 370Z resonators for G37 resonators (~$100) and get the G37 muffler (~$100). Best boom for your buck.
