My header install was only $500 and because I was getting the headers and exhaust installed at the same time, the exhaust install was free. And BOTH were installed in less than 8 hours.

You should be fine on inspection just find a shop you're friendly. If installed properly you won't throw a check engine light so unless they are sticky on the visuals you'll be ok. I would recommend biting the bullet on the install, performance motorsport in smithtown is a great place albeit a bit of a ride from BK. Don't cheap out on the install like I did, it will cause headaches and cost more in the long run.
Another New Yorker with LTH's, sweet, I can understand not wanting to be to loud living in BK but out on the Island, well I enjoy being one of the loudest cars in the State.

I would say save your money until you can get the F.I. to match their exhaust up with the LTH's. The F.I. has still shown to produce the best HP gains, so why not maximize those gains with their exhaust?

I will definetly reach out to both shops (depending how this oil cooler install goes) when it comes time for doing the headers/cbe (I actually plan on doing them my self, buddy has a lift & tools) but I'll need an uprev tune as well. You coming to the meet tonight? Quote:

I haven't had any work done there, I just stopped by for a little meet while I was visiting NY. They had a GT-R's there and a bunch of 370Z TT's all over the place, it was awesome

Save up and just get the FI exhaust. If you're worried about being too loud, get the SS cans and 18" resonators. Even then, it's going to be a little loud. It's awesome though. I've had my LTH + catback together on the car for like 2 weeks now, and I'm not sure if I've turned on my radio since. I drive just to listen to the exhaust

The F.I. exhaust is the most popular and the 18in resonators will help tone it down. Keep in mind you will still be loud so don't be surprised. I'm waiting on a few parts to come in I probably won't be avail for a meet for 2 weeks. I'm rather tired of driving a car with incomplete work and the Kognition wing has been gathering dust for a looooong time.
