Default Update!!!

After contacting Alex at ARK and taking several pics of my exhaust system and emailing them to him it seems a G37 exhaust kit was sent to me instead of the correct kit for my 370Z.

Its been a royal pain in the *** because Ive been having to jack my car up in my garage (dont have a lift) and its been 107 degrees here in Texas for quite some time. I got my kit from Fred Beans Nissan and while I got a good deal, I would have been more than happy to pay full price instead of going through all this BS.

Alex is going to have their manufacturing department contact me today to get it all sorted out... Thanks Alex!

The right exhaust was sent to you. We have to see where the adjustment is needed.

I've been in contact with Alex at ARK over the past couple of weeks and it seems I may have just gotten a bad batch of mid pipes. They have come up with a solution to not only make the muffler cans even but have also bent the mid pipes so the rear flanges won't scrape the ground as much when the car is lowered. Just going off the info I've got from Alex thus far and he's saying I should have a set of redesigned midpipes by the end of the month. I'll keep you folks updated when I get the revised mid pipes.

I've had mine a couple weeks and same problem, did a mtn run today couldn't push the car because the passenger side hangs so low. I just thought this was how it was supposed to be. Would love to see a fix to this.

Here are a couple of pics from the rear view with a tape measure illustrating the difference in muffler height. When these pics were taken my car was on the ground and sitting level. Alex states that the mid pipes are the problem and is supposed to be sending me a new set end of month.

However, I cant help but notice the difference in the bends of the muffler pipe section between the end of the mid pipe and the beginning of the muffler.

Thanks for the pics. I would be pissed about that too. I thought you were just being anal and wanted a perfectly symmetrical setup, but I can see where you are coming from now.

Wow thats a lot worse than I expected it to be. So is it more of a defective batch or perhaps mid pipes from a different application?

I had the same problem but it just needed to be re-aligned. I love the exhaust, sound and looks but its still a bit low. Only way I'd change it though if it was completely damaged.

Ive tried re-aligning the CBE every way possible and actually have the passenger side muffler adjusted as high as it can go but its still way off. I do love the look and sound of the exhaust but I just wish it would fit correctly.

Wish I knew Glokwork, but apparently I am not the only person with this problem. Since starting this post there are a few others who recently purchased this CBE and are having the same problem. My only guess is that its a defective batch.

From my knowledge, the un even canisters that you have does not compare to others. Even from the same batch, members does not have an uneven canister to this degree. All of our installs here have been very close with the tips being perfect.
