It has to be the body itself. My rear is strip and it does this all the time between certain revs. But when I have a bag of clothing in there you never her it. So the weight is obvious pressing on the inside of the body paneling. So IMO it has to be where some part of interior/ exterior is sealed together at a seam. Just a thought.

Well, now we may be getting somewhere. The other day, my brother and I had an idea to throw him in the hatch area real quick to invesitgate where the noise was coming from.... Low and behold, no noise... Now we couldnt investigate fully, and I wasnt in an area where I could test it all the way however... there may be some truth to this. I will followup with any results that I find.

Please do that would be great! All i've been doing is putting shop rags in between the hatch window and the plastic molding and that seems to help a bit. I wish i could put a person back there to investigate but my stereo is more than half the trunk. I'm thinking about taking those panels off of the hatch to see if they are the problem. Been so busy just haven't had time to do so. Will let you all know though!

We will fix this yall! We gotta! It's driving us nuts! LoL

So I gutted the rear today prepairing for my roll cage and I found several metal pieces that could easily cause vibrations under all the rear trim. Maybe this can give you guys soom insite of what might be going on. I didn't get a chance to drive my car so not sure after removing these pieces will help. The last piece was only millimeters from the body. But when I do I'll defiantly keep you updated.

This Piece Is Really The One I Think Is A Main Culprit

I never had a chance to gut my car and this is the first time i am seeing the pics above. After seeing them i feel like there are numerous spots where mine could be coming from. But from the pics, my money is on the pic where it looks like 5 ground wires are connecting to the body panel...
