Recommended Test Pipes for Z with FI

OK, so my Stillen HFC's decided to take a crap on me after only 6k miles and all the packing started blowing out the exhaust pipes. They need to be

Default Recommended Test Pipes for Z with FI
OK, so my Stillen HFC's decided to take a crap on me after only 6k miles and all the packing started blowing out the exhaust pipes. They need to be replaced, so i'm thinking something that doesn't have packing, like test pipes.

The ART test pipes look nice, however, i saw a couple comments that they are quiet. I don't want it to be quiet, i want to be able to hear a good exhaust note.

I also have opportunity to pick up some GTM resonated test pipes from a friend....recommended?? Quiet? Loud?

suggestions appreciated.

Motordyne ART pipes... proven more hp gains over all other tp's and hfc's. Expensive, but hands down the best.

quiet in terms of they arent as loud or raspy as regular test pipes

You can kind of relate them to a good HFC in terms of sound.

I would recommend Berk Test pipes since they are high quality made in the USA parts and we have installed these on other cars in the past and have seen amazing performance and sound improvement.

How about F.I. non rest. test pipes... just saying.. I have the rest. test and they're great.

i put non-resonated test pipes on temporarily and i'm definitely getting hiss and some rasp. So, gonna be looking to put something else on.

It's going to be difficult to get rid of the deceleration hiss with these engines....

I won't be in town. They sound amazing. I have a video but it doesn't sound anything like they do in person since I do my recording via iPhone 4. :-(

You really need to hear them in person. Ill post the video but you probably won't be impressed. In person you'd be sporting wood.

Yes. It gave me a headache on longer trips. Now I don't even hear the exhaust at cruising speeds.
