Vote: Updated exhaust poll
 

So i was just curious what exhaust people are running/prefer on here. I think a poll seeing what exhaust a lot of people are going with would be a help for people looking to purchase an exhaust in the future.

Exhausts will be listed from cheapest at the top to most expensive at the bottom.

I know most people will vote for what they have on their own ride which is fine. Maybe this poll could somewhat be a representation of what exhausts most people are running on here

This is a tough one. I'm running the Berk because I got an awesome deal on a used one. It was one of my faves, but I think if I was purchasing a new one, I would probably wait and get the Ark DTS Type 1 when it comes out. Either that or the FI.

Voted CNT because that's what I have. If I had the funds though, I'd go Akrapovic.

Berk all the way...Great sound, reasonable price, and maintains the stock look with a little bling

FI I think is the preferred exhaust for most 370 owners.

How many people can honestly say that they have NEVER scraped their FI exhaust? I love the look and sound, but they hang too low!

What is the washer mod?

throw the stock system into the washer on "high" for 20 minutes.... hang to dry.

Basically you space the flanges that connect the pieces of your exhaust apart by putting a few washers in between. (aka create a small exhaust leak to make more sound)

Haven't scraped. But to be completely honest I've only had them since the end of June or ~ 2K miles of driving. It is my daily driver and I drive more careful over step inclines and speed bumps, but that doesn't bother me. F.I. exhaust is well worth the wait.

F.I. is awesome, but all the ones I've seen have scrapes... :icon14:

are all those cars lowered though? I'm sitting stock and have zero problems with them, in fact, I've lightly scraped the underside of the front bumper trying to slowly negotiate a driveway etc and still didn't scrape the cans or pipes on the exhaust.

To be honest i expected to see a lot more people with ark or top speed on here

August 5th I'll be heading to Iowa, so I'll have to skip that one. The whole car is being polished on Wednesday of that week and then a clear bra being put on Friday morning. I leave for Iowa as soon as the clear bra is done.

I picked top speed.
I had the FI CBE and i couldnt lower my car how i wanted so i had to sell it. It also looked akward from some angles in the rear cuz the mufflers were sitting too low.

test pipe + aam short tails = loudest car in missouri (for about 15 miles). then i sold them and picked up a CNT :happydance:

man it sounds nice, but it's expensive unfortunately. I'd likely go for it if it was in the same price line as some of ther other top companies.
