K&N Drop in Air Filters - is Resetting the ECU necessary??

I have a newbie question, I have read many posts regarding resetting the ECU when adding a CAI, HFCs or CBE, do I need to do this for a drop in filter only?

Thanks,

V

You don't need to reset anything for any of those mods.

Within 5 - 7 hard pulls, the ECU will have readjusted to the new mods.

Agreed. It's not "necessary" but it doesn't hurt to start ECU relearning straight off the bat.

No reset here. I don't think it is necessary for such a minor mod. But, no harm no foul.

JollyGoodChap 06-29-2011 12:15 PM

for small things like that the ECU will relearn on it's own won't it?
