Question in Injen Install
For those that have it, do I have to cut any part of the existing washer filler to fit the new one or does the stock hose slip off the fill nozzle? I am trying my hardest not to install any mods that aren't 100% reversible.

I know theres some sort of minor modification there. Its been awhile that I installed mine but I do remember cutting here and there.. Nothing major. It should say in your instructions. If you follow it step by step you shouldnt have a problem.

yes the fiiler needs to be cut unfortunately.

Ugh that sucks, I guess it's better than dremeling the wheel guards. Probably a relatively cheap part to replace too if I ever want to.

yeah the bad thing is you will not get the low washer fluid level indicator. the new filler neck is less than 5 bucks at nissan. id just cut the thing.. if you want to replace the washer tank back to stock im pretty sure the motor and level sensor come with. all this is worth it because its a fairly easy install and the intake looks and sounds and performs great. i cant say its as good or better than the gen 3 but i cant imagine its not far from it.

Injen = Cold Water Intake

^^ that'll produce massive engine failure for sure... but apparently humidity or rain will cause the filter to soak (water draining down the tubes and into the filter, or humidty and the filter retaining water vapor). That would affect the MAFs. TX_370 had those issues. Here:
http://www.the370z.com/texas/36901-h...dallas-17.html I don't have the injens, so I can't say for sure that is true, but it sure makes sense to me. There's a lot of people in here complaining about the same issue and a few hydrolocked because of them... IMO, Stillen has a better design for the same price, if not less. |

The intake on my SC'd G is lower then the ingen intake and I have no issue. I drive year round. That said I will not drive my car through 2' of water. But that did not change after i had the SC. Anyone that will drive their car through 2' of water is an idiot. |
haven't had any issues with the injen in NY humidity granted I don't drive in the rain. I check on the intake filters frequently bc of these fears but time is showing that it really isn't anything more than unneeded concerns.
