I loved the sound of F.I. CBE, but after I added F.I. HFC I find the sound too loud now and borderline 'ricer'

It's difficult to have any type of conversation in the car now without having to shout over the exhaust.

In retrospect I think I would have just left it at the F.I. CBE and not added the HFC.

Just my 2 cents...

is there a more quiet exhaust with good gains? I certainly don't want a loud exhaust.

Any of the aftermarket CBE will have gains. The Berk & Stillen CBE's aren't too bad, volume wise. I have the Borla and its pretty close to stock' sound levels at idle. Once you get on it though, I would say it's a little more than twice as loud as stock. It has more of a "growl" compared to the others I've heard.

yeah, I don't want to have to yell over the exhaust like the other guy said he has to do over his FI exhaust.
