From what I have heard about motordyne they seem to be a very reputable company. The 370z is my first japanese sports car and I really have enjoyed it. There intake will give an honest torque gain but Do Not expect it to be a good deal. The quality of the part is on the NO. Back to the stock manifold for me. ((iDO NOT like the aluminum Plate you have)) That is cheap!!!

Did you put it on the dyno? If you don't like the plate, you could always put stock engine covers on. From what i have seen, 10-15 ftlbs gains in the mid range is pretty impressive to me.

Mine works just great it made all sort of more rwhp and torque between 3000 to 7000 rpm and i did not loose any top end power.
1/8 mile time with it 8.02 @89.3 mph.
12.42 @ 114.3
all motor 7 AT.
i ajusted my tune with my cobb and it really goes now.

I should really try to find a used Cobb for my AT just to compare it to my Uprev.

so, if i understand your point, you don't like the plate as a stylistic choice. everything else is ok?

The 1/4" aluminum plate is there for a functional reason. It needs it. Do you have an alternate suggestion?

What is this plate you speak of? I never received one when I ordered my M370 intake.

I thought u said it was a good mod for the money? What happened?

I could tell a big difference down low in torque and no loss up top. Car continues to pull to redline.

I have M370, Stillen Gen 3, Full 3 inch exhaust, and FI Resonated Test Pipes.

Also M370 changed tone of exhaust, which I like. Loud despite Evo 4G recording it.

Yea I got some power out of it, but the way its bolted to the lower intake is not a good design. The aluminum plate just pushes down on the upper intake. If one didnt know any better they could crack the new intake by bolting it down to tight.

Design a new intake and dont use 350z parts.

It would definitely be nice to see Motordyne or someone else come out with a full new design meant for the 370Z. I don't like the mentality, "We can make it fit."

On the other hand, if it works, it works.

Improving flow is time consuming, and that cost gets passed on. This is a good, cheap manifold.
