Thanks for the quick replies. Stretcho, that's what I was looking for as a review on the Tanabe. I've looked into Ark but from videos and sound clips they sounded louder than the Agency.

I'm confused... (imagine that)... you had a CBE but it was too loud so now you want HFC's and a CBE, but you want it to be quieter than when you just had a CBE? What am I missing here?

The only problem was it was slightly too loud at the end of the day. So I ended up selling it to anothe member. I am now reaching out to you guys & girls for exhaust options. Looking for something that has a good deep tone to it but not loud or drone of course. Also I think I'll be going with a hi flow cat this time around as we'll. So need help with choosing a cat that doesn't hiss or sound to raspy. When I was looking at CBEs in the past, I liked the YouTube videos of the tanabe medallion. Anyone running this systems? If so, thoughts. Before for I forget while making this decision process I will be doing some suspension work next summer so I need to avoid a CBE that would drag or scratch when lowered. Thanks.
All HFC will hiss.

I just picked up the Stillen CBE's yesterday, and I have to say, they're quite perfect for me.

I'm an audio freak and put in a lot of money into the car's sound system, and I wanted an exhaust that doesn't put that investment to waste.

The exhaust is respectably loud outside of the car (although not even close to the Fast Intentions ones or the Greddy Ti-C). Not loud enough to attract unwanted attention, but loud enough so people know its there.

Inside the car, absolutely no drone, revertebration, vibrating, or anything. Unless you're revving or past 3.5k rpm or so.

So if you want an exhaust that'll give you a quiet interior unless you punch it or roll down your windows, I'd say this is for you.

Yongxshin, thanks for sharing your opinions on the Stillen CBE. I'm glad it's working out for you. After reading your review, I'm strongly considering a purchase of this exhaust at some point. Were you able to take advantage of the promotion that Stillen is running right now (buy the exhaust, get the air intake for free)?

An FYI, the ARK is similar to the stillen in terms of its not overly loud on everyday driving and has no drone, but if you gun its definitely noticeable with an awesome sound.

Plus the ARK's looks way better!

Put on the Nismo370Z cat-back on my Z. This is the OE one, not the S-Tune. Made it very mildly louder, deeper. No rasping, no droning, no N/V/H. Tips are nice and large too. I'd recommend it for anyone wanting an OEM exhaust upgrade.

Look to be custom. GTM's quad ehxaust has the tips farther apart from eachother. The Zele quad exhaust has offset tips and are also farther apart.

I've been looking around for some time now... Quick and simple question I guess. Which one is the most quiet of the three Stillen, HKS, or FI 18'? I want something slightly louder than stock but not to much. If anyone heard all 3 of these in person could chime in it would be really helpful.
