Berk CBE Help

Was wondering if anyone has had any problems with the Berk CBE tips sticking out to far past the rear bumper. I had a local shop do the install and noticed that the tips were not flush (actually 2 inches past the bumper). I figured I would just adjust them when I got home. Well I loosened them up and removed the tips, but no matter how much pressure I put on the tips they wont go any further into the pipe. I even grabbed a board so I can use a hammer to get them to go in further, no luck. Seems like there is a little seam on the inside of the exhaust tip and that may be hanging the pipe up? The reason I bought Berk was for the stock look. This looks bad sticking out so far. Thanks in advance for any advice. I will go back tomorrow to the shop that did the install and see if they can adjust them.

Give Berk a call they will be more then willing to help! Especially before you do anything to alter it... take pics that way you have them to show them. They usually ask to see them to help you and the product.

Are you sure you have the berks? The tips can't be adjusted but the tips do not stick past the bumper. Sounds like you have the stillen.

Yeah, strange. Something isn't right. I have a feeling the muffler isn't slid deep enough up.

Do I have the wrong tips?

Unless Berk has changed something, that's not a Berk exhaust.

The tips on mine are flush with the rear bumper and not adjustable.

those appear to be adjustable tips. You should be able to loosen the collar and adjust them

Definitely let us know how it goes. I've been considering the Berk exhaust lately, but I'm just worried about some of the fitment issues I've read about. I thought Berk had fixed the issues after the 2nd batch of exhausts.

Yeah they are. I can remove them. Problem is they are not sliding up far enough. maybe some grease will help. its definitely a Berk exhaust. why it has adjustable tips when everyone else has fixed is beyond me.

Try calling Berk and ask them why yours is different.
