Any intake suggestions?
I have stillen gen 3 intakes which is long tubed intake .
With feedbacks, I'm aware that stillen gen 3 intakes have most gain in hp. However, the dealershop screwed me over due to aftermarket intakes so I'm willing to get rid of it. However, I believe short intakes will be OK to install. Any suggestion? :happydance: THanks in advance. |
I'd go back to stock rather than running an SRI.

They're ok to install but for the gains your better off with the stock intakes with k&n air filters. Whats the deal with the dealer? Did you have an issue they're blaming your intakes?

Cool, what's the gain with KN filters? :happydance: Any sound difference from stock? I'm guessing not :ugh2: |
I like the k&n typhoon. No hassle, decent gains, and sounds good. I think there was a sale going on too.

anyone on here run the HKS super suction kit? not sure if it is long or short, and it is pricey as hell.. just a thought though if you are an hks fan like me.

Hot intake air is always a good hp gain
Sorry. |
haha, I hate when that happens.
I think there was a guy on here that installed them. I don't know why you'd drop like $700 on them. |

For the HKS name cause I heard they give you an additional 10hp

I think the hot/cold air debate does make a difference, it is just not as major as most make it out to be imo.

Iunno about the other comments about SRI being useless, but there seems to be some good ones. Top Secrets SRI produced more gains than the stillen g3s. here is the thread: http://www.the370z.com/intake-exhaus...e-intakes.html
But its still hella exp, if you have the money then it will be good for the op |
