Can I paint a stillen G3 Intake? I purchased it used and the prior owner scratched it all over the place some how... it drives me nuts.. Could I have

I purchased it used and the prior owner scratched it all over the place some how... it drives me nuts.. Could I have it painted you think? or would it chip? If its a bad idea, does anyone know any Powder Coating places on Long Island ?
