Art Pipes or F.I headers
Still have yet to buy my 370z, but plan on doing so in the months to come, I'm doing all my due diligence ahead of getting the car, well.. I'm thinking of adding boltons + uprev tune. So far the list goes like this:
-Stillen Gen3 Intakes -Fast Intetions 18" catback -Motordyne Art Pipes or Fast Intentions LTH???? Opinions welcome on the setup.. I searched thru a couple of threads, havent really seen a comparision between the two, but from what I've read it all comes down to the LTH getting the job done earlier in the power band.. final numbers I think would be around the same; not to mention art pipes cost a lot less, is the extra money worth it on the LTH ? I would wait few more month if I were you,
Motordyne and ARK are designing headers for VHR I would go with Motodyne headers with his ART test pipes! but hey, fast intention LtH = droooool! |

There are varied gains with the FI LTHs; some get good gains, especially in the torque department while others don't get a bump in power. The sound is intoxicating, especially in person! I would go with ART pipes personally as they have shown gains across many different setups, get rid of rasp and hiss (which LTHs increase), and don't require so much work installing or removing.

Motordyne is developing a CAI and Catback for the Z as well. Save your pennies.

I have the 18" CF exhaust + the LTH and I can honestly say that there is no better exhaust combo. From sound to power it's beyond incredible and with the 18" cf exhaust I don't have any rasp just a pure aggressive & deep sound.

I've seen different exhaust combos so I know what I'm talking about, and the quality in tony's pieces is definitly there. GTM doesn't make headers but their exhaust is good as well.

I currently have FI's LTH's with a GTHaus exhaust. Hands down the loudest but still clean sounding Z on here. I've been followed for miles for someone to say dude I'm feeling your car. With that said one problem I did run into was after putting on the exhaust setup my intakes (stock with K&N) were to restrictive. Maybe it was because I got the UpRev tune before the catback install, all in all its probably best done getting some headers, intakes, and catback of your choice with a tune in that order.

It wouldn't surprise me if GTM does come out with LTHs, the make alot of other great products for the Z. And ya I do know what I'm talking about, there are plenty of Z's in my area with difference set-ups that I've experienced. Plus I go to all the major Z meets so I've heard alot. Just because I'm not in Cali, making body pieces, or getting the inside scoop on some of the new stuff first doesn't mean I don't know what I'm saying.
