Next upgrade after exhaust mod..?

Hi everyone,

I know this type of question pops up a lot, but I would love to hear your opinions in terms of the next modifcation for my car.

So far I have done the following:

- Installed Exoticspeed exhaust RII Titan PWR-SI
- Installed K&N drop ins

I love the exhaust and think it has not received enough attention on this forum and the Z community so far - there you go, free advertising for them. :tiphat:

In terms of my roadmap on what to do next I not quite sure. I want to eventually have something like this:

- Gen 3 intake (is this worth it given I already have the drop ins?)
- Stillen HFC's
- Stillen Pulley

I will also be ordering an oil cooler at some stage and I will probably need to consider an ECU remap / Uprev for the car.

In any case, what do I do first?

Cheers!

Stillen G3's on my stock car with a custom cobb AP map I did made quite a huge difference...
I have run my buddies 350hr quite a lot and after the intake and map I would pull 2.5+ cars on him whereas before I would pull maybe half a car at the most.

The intake really makes a huge difference on this car. Something a lot of people aren't used to with N/A motors or smaller displacement motors.

Really? I thought I've read around a lot where the stock airbox is pretty damn efficient enough the difference in dynos between stock airbox and Gen3 is minor?

Since you have K&N drop-in filters already, fork out the $100 for the HPS tubes and skip the Gen 3 intake. HP numbers are close between the two from what I've seen on some of the dyno's that have been posted.

Thanks, guys, for all the good input.

I think Urbanracer has a good point with the HPS tubes. I might do that plus the HFC's - will hopefully get me close to 300whp.

Again, thanks for your comments.

Hmm...where do I get the HPS tubes?
Forum search function isn't helping me a lot....

Edit / UPDATE: Ordered from Corsport.

How easy is the install?
