Exhaust for me...

So, I own a Nissan 370z Roadster in Europe. I love the car, but for a such aggressive look, the sound is like a small cat I want to change

Default Exhaust for me...

So, I own a Nissan 370z Roadster in Europe.
I love the car, but for a such aggressive look, the sound is like a small cat

I want to change the sound of the car and I really don't have any idea where to begin with!

1. I don't want to be very loud, I'm a daily driver. It's a roadster, and I live in a crowded city.
2. I'm not interested in power gain, only better sound.
btw: In my country we have emission tests every 2 years.
3. Ground clearance it's a issue on the roads that I travel, so I don't need a new handicap

The shipping will be probably another nightmare, but let's see the options.

So.. what do you recommend ?

Thank you!

I've read a lot, but really I did not made a clear picture about this problem, that's why I've opened a new topic, with my own specific requests.

Yes get a used Nismo Edition or S-Tune exhaust. Least gains and sound and looks nice.

I have a Tanabe cbe and I am very happy with the sound. I didn't want it too loud, just a nicer note. I don't know yet how to post sound clips , but if you go to their web site they have sound clips.I regard to your other question there should be no problems.

I have invidia gemini. It was affordable, and I am pleased with it. Quiet when you want it to be, but aggressive at WOT. Overall, it has a deep tone, and the clearance is decent.

The simplest thing if you're looking for low cost/only sound would be to get a larger diameter Y-Pipe. It definately allows more flow and opens up at throttle, but not at idle.

Have you checked your passenger side flex pipe... a few people here have had problems with that and had to get them replaced from invidia. Might be something to check out to be safe...

Thanks for the concern, but from my understanding it only occured to individuals who removed the stock cat brace not knowing the consequences.
