Won't work that way. Way too many law enforcement personel in our practice.
Here comes the big test, with the weekend just about over we'll be heading back to Jersey. The gains with the manfold are in the midpange so thats about highway speed , right?
I 'll see if my missus notices the change and btw I saved a feather.:bowrofl:

Haha....:icon18: Enjoy the mod, I know I do.... the midrange should be the most noticeable in terms of power.

absolutely if you gun it, you feel the surge in the middle that otherwise just felt like a linear acceleration.

Just got home and yes indeed ,the mid range is up there . Was doing 75 and went to pass a lld(left lane ****) and before I knew it, I was doing 100. I'm sold on it.

A quick follow up on the install, DON"T pay someone to do it for you, it's way too easy to do yourself.I would have done a dyi on it but I had to get done before the missus figgered out what I was up to.The instrction sheet is quite clear and the only tools needed are 10,12,14mm regular and deep sockets and a pair of chanel lock pliers to open the hose clamps. The only issue is/are the pvc hoses are just a touch too short so you have to play with them .The last thing is that on the stock manfold the manfold vacume sensor nipple plugs right into the manifold, on the M 370 it plugs into a hose. Since the nipple is kinda short you really have to convince it to stay put and get the hose clamp set just right, if not the car will stall. Other than that, no problems at all. You really feel an increase in power in the mid ranges, accelleration is much smoother. I don't race, so peak hp doesn't matter to me but as a dd it kicks not to mention 28 mpg on the highway. As larry would say "git 'er done" and I add, by yerself.:tiphat:

Nice write up, But I would like to see is there are really any gains( Dyno) For $650 better be something.. I was looking at this also but wait for results..

Wife+ Need to know is my thoughts also..

Abdiel 04-26-2011 10:54 AM

ANMVQ 04-26-2011 11:28 AM

Thanx but wanna see a independent dyno.

Abdiel 04-26-2011 12:02 PM

There are three independent dynos linked at the end of the first post.

ANMVQ 04-26-2011 12:42 PM

I saw those, But hard to read.. The Dynojet ones I never take for real. To many factors can scew the numbers the mustang dyno makes no sense 269 WHP 301 WTQ?? (YEA RIGHT) I have used a lot of Mustang dynos and none of mine are that tuff to read.. LOL

I still want to see more than three, and no in the Motordyne thread, Just a guy who bought it and did before and after runs. I would but the $$$ is too steep for my just to grab it and try..

Nice writeup

I will be throwing mine on the dyno shortly with plenty of 'pre/diff' dyno runs to compare it to..

Kastley85891 04-27-2011 05:52 AM

DrEvil -- any idea on vac hose diameter/size, I think I will go get a few feet in prior to install to route them with slack etc.
