Ok, based on the broken nature of the post... The only one I can make sense of is your o2 sensor threw a code when you put the test pipes on. You need an anti-fowler or some steel wool to prevent it from being thrown again.

As for the other problems, Im not really sure what you're trying to say...?

:iagree:

And based on your statement N and D I assume you have an auto like me. The car will not rev past 5k in N with an Auto 370z.

For the vibration check that the exhaust is not rubbing on anything. A lot of exhaust will sit on the Cross Member and vibrate the whole car at certain RPMs. With my exhaust I put a hose clamp over the rubber exhaust hanger and tighten the clamp raising the exhaust off the cross member.

I'm gonna try and translate:

I bought an Invidia Q300 2 weeks ago. Upon installation of the test pipes, my"check engine light" came on. I also notice a lot of vibration in the shift knob. When I try to rev in neutral, it only goes up to 5,000 rpm's. It's fine when its in gear (D).
I would suggest getting an OBD reader to see what codes you have. The likely cause is a faulty O2 sensor. There shouldn't be any vibration with the shift knob, especially since this is an Automatic, correct? The rev limiter in neutral is normal I believe, but I could be wrong.

Start off by going to Autozone and getting the code read. You could have an exhaust leak, or more likely the O2 sensor is detecting that the cat isn't working properly (because it isn't there). If that is the case then an as already stated an anti-fouler adapter should do the trick.

but the i got some damage on the exhauts but is a litle scratch , u think that its the problem

^are you typing on your phone?

Check for a leak where the scratch is. If it's a surface scratch then its not the problem.

Warm sake always does the trick for me.. especially with sashimi..

Is this your first manual car??? vibration/shake on your shift knob is normal..

roplusbee 04-20-2011 10:30 AM

Ok......is english your second language? Or is it that you talk in l337 speak?

All jokes aside, you should put the car up in the air and take a good look at what you got going on underneath. If not, the posts above are good advice. Good luck.

flashburn 04-20-2011 10:30 AM

Yeah, but he has sake on his knob. Is that normal?

phelan 04-20-2011 10:33 AM

no. he's obviously wasting good sake.

like everybody else said - 5k rpm limiter in neutral is normal. to rev it higher you'll need to be in a gear.
get the code read, because right now it could be a variety of things. most have simple fixes though, so this should not be a big deal.
stop drinking in your car :)

zarc04 04-20-2011 07:38 PM
