Thumbs down Just installed K&N Typhoon intake...problem...

The intake is amazing, sounds great...but for some reason now, my driver side window wont roll up when the door is open, and when i get out and close the door, usually the window will be down a bit and roll up, now its opposite, everytime i close my door the window goes by a inch or 2 every time i close door, until it completely down. -____- FML.

Any suggestions? Im guessing it has to do with taking the negative battery terminal off before the install. Ugh...

I don't remember the way to do it exactly. I think you get in and turn the car on (not ignition) and hold the window buttons down (windows go down) for like a minimum of 10 seconds and then roll them all the way up. Turn the car off. Should be fixed.

I think... there's a thead on this somewhere

I fixed it i found a thread that says this.... IM SO HAPPY NOW!! THANKS GUYS!! I LOVE THIS ******* SITE!!

Have the car turned off.
Press the ignition twice to get into ON mode, but don't depress the clutch (Don't start the car)
Using the window switch, fully lower each window and then fully raise it back up **HOLD FOR 5 SECONDS IN UP POSITION**
Push ignition once to turn off the ignition.
Start car normally, windows should be reprogrammed.

Would there be any problem if you do not disconnect the negative terminal while installing the K&N CAI?

Thanks for the quick response? How about the ECU? do i need to have it reprogrammed?
Can you share some of your reviews with this intake? I read with others reviews there was a lost of torque below 3K rpm compared with previous closed box. Did you have the same problem?

don't need the ecu reprogrammed. i noticed a huge gain up top along with a much more throaty sound under wot. low end loss was not noticed at all and my miles per tank has gone up about 20-30 mpt. downside is that unless i baby it and don't make it make noise my overall gas mileage has gone down due to the added fun with the increase in power and sound. i love mine.

I would just enjoy them as they are and if you upgrade your cats and exhaust, go the next level with an UpRev tune to be sure you unleash all you can out of your mods.
