Very old thread but I'll post an update since I see the last question hasn't been answered.
The tips can almost be in the same position as stock, for a deeper positioning within the bumper you should install some shims in order to grab the pipe, as the intended installation is for the tips to protrude outwards. I also wanted as stock look as possible and I settled with having the tips protrude around 8mm or so, which is acceptable imho. |
