Ripped up my flex pipe
 

I got the invidia gemini, and I ripped up the bottom of the flex pipe metal weaving.

It's currently leaking out of the one side. I don't feel like going to the exhaust shop every time I scrape my g37, and invidia wants $150 for the passanger side piece between your cats and x pipe.

What are some of my options? Can I weld straight pipes instead of the flex pipes or does the motor flex a lot? I beat on my car all the time btw. I wouldn't want my oem headers to crack.

Buy some flex pipe Vibrant TurboFlex Couplings w/ Interlock Liner and weld some skidplates to protect the flex pipes?

I bought flex pipes off ebay. It seemed easier to do a search on ebay instead of driving around and looking for it in my 'hood. Even some of the stores here told me to go online.
