CAT PIPES: F:I. vs BERK vs. KINETIX
I'm already planning on my first mods. I already decided on the injen long tube CAI and cat pipes as my first pair of engine mods before puttting on an exhaust. 3 companies make cat pipes. (Catalylitic converter and test pipe combined in one unit)
Fast intentions seems like the most trustworthy being that they are the original designers of this part and well known by the Z community. On the other hand Berk is very reputable and is also known by the Z community as being top notch. The icing on the cake is it also costs $100 less. And finally, there's the Kinetix cat pipe. The most affordable of the 3. At $390 its a steal. Thing is. Some people swear by kinetix and some don't. But most say customer service is superior to most other companies and they stand by any defected product. All this is gathered from wide spread research on google. I was just wondering if you guys have any feedback or experience with either or all of these parts and just kinda help point me in the right direction... Its always nice to save money but not at the cost of an unreliable product. Thoughts or reviews gladly taken. Thanx. |

Well I see that this thread now has over 30 views and no replies.
I have no comment on the other two brands but what I can tell you that we will take care of you with anything that you may need. Out turnaround time on the cats is only 1-3 business days and you can always talk directly to the owner, me! In addition I will strive to give you a superior product. If you have any questions or would like to place an order, please do not hesitate to call me directly... Thank you, Tony

First, I noticed on the website you mentioned no rasp with TDX exhaust. Will I have a lot of rasp from stock exhaust with the FI cat pipe and will it be a good fit? I do plan on buying an exhaust later on but it will be a few months after I do the intake and cat pipe. Last edited by UNKNOWN_370; 04-05-2011 at 11:21 AM. |
