K&N cold air intake kit, installed for $430 dollars, is this a good price for the labor and parts? Also how noticeable is the sound with the intake?

Is it just sound you are after? If so, you can get something a lot less expensive than that. If you don't care about the sound or want it to remain fairly stock, then what I , and several others, have done to pick up roughly 75% or more of the HP a long tube CAI would net is to get the smooth tubes and drop in filters. I went HPS and AFE oil-less. It changes the sound slightly but not bad at all. |
