well I have heard raspy and maybe my scale is off but yours was minimal in comparison to some stuff I have heard

I have the Stillen exhaust on my Z too and I love the sound! Ill try and borrow my roommate's camera when he gets back from vacation and try to make a video/soundclip for you guys!

Yeah the test pipes do introduce rasp, I didn't order them resonated unfortunately so I had to custom resonate them locally which helped out a lot.

Still debating whether or not I should go with headers, think I'm going to wait for long tubes if they come out anytime soon. Or what do you guys think?

Resonated test pipes IMO combine the best of both worlds, doesn't rasp like the non-resonated and gives better gains than the somewhat restricting HFC's

Isn't that good enough a reason? man and I thought Z'ers had harder biting mod bugs lol

I don't disagree with you at all. The theory is solid. However, there are many other variables that have to be looked at.. build quality, sound, manufacturer support of their products, actual proven gains, fitment, etc.

I am not someone who buys parts on impulse...you bought your test pipes and then had to get them resonated because you couldnt stand the rasp, I don't do that. Funny you would suggest I make the same mistake you did, I guess you didn't learn anything from it. So no, its not because I want to ruin my stillen collection.
