yes. So after driving the car around a bit...I absolutely love the sound. Power is there for sure. I love it. I am happy with the setup and it seems

yes.

So after driving the car around a bit...I absolutely love the sound. Power is there for sure. I love it. I am happy with the setup and it seems to be getting stronger. When I first picked it up it felt a lot less "lively" than it does now. I think its picking up some of that torque

There is rasp, but personally, I love it. I may soon get test pipes....when the tuning software comes out.

Definitely good to hear.

I will be getting test pipes when tuning software becomes available. I just can't stand CEL's.

Is your rasp considerably louder in the 2.5-3k-ish range than the rest of the tach? I'm still waiting on gaskets to sort out what of my rasp is leaks and what is real.

The sounds on an opened-up 370Z intake/exhaust is awesome overall though, it's a nice tone. Has deep parts, but definitely a higher-pitched more exotic sounding component too it as you get up in revs. I feel bad for the daily drivers behind me when I hit the pedal in traffic though, it's got to be a pretty jarring experience if it's anything like what I hear with my windows down driving near a concrete barrier.

One of my favorite pastimes is to go into a covered parking deck and see how many car alarms I can set off as I drive by.

I love doing that! Plus you get some extra reverberance which makes your exhuast sound even cooler.

I did get busted by the parking garage security one time, I just laughed.

The one I can't help myself on is delaying my downshift for a highway underpass U-turn so that I can do the downshift blip underneath the underpass

Must add driving through a tunnel with the windows down, down shifting and flooring it. Even the stock exhaust sounds great then. You're exhaust may well create a shockwave behind you. Anyway ... I digress

So it may be just me, but I haven't been lied to by my butt-dyno before...the car feels much better now than from when I picked it up. Specially on the torque side. Second and third gear are epic with the sound. I scared a guy in a F360 Spider earlier, the startled look on his face was priceless. Also, either its loud, or it sounds really good because I've been turning heads and getting thumbs up all day.

Well, either it was raspy and you missed it or you didnt hear it from the inside, or it got raspy after I left. But it is a bit raspy. I love it though...
