Exclamation Invidia Gemini + Invidia HFC's - anyone experience with this setup?

Hi,

Does anyone run Invidia Gemini + Invidia HFC's (200 CEL) and stock intake (or aftermarket panel filters)?

I am concerned the HFC's will make the car too loud for comfortable weekend cruising. I drive an 2010 370z Roadster.

If anyone has this setup combination or has seen it I'd love your feedback. On a a scale from 1 to 7 (1 being stock, 7 being the loudest) I am looking to sit around a 4.

Also, has anyone documented power gains from this combination? I am thinking about +15bhp?

Thanks for any insight, guys.

I just finished installing the Gemini exhaust with GTM RTPs. Check out my review in my thread "Invidia Gemini & GTM RTP Install". Feel free to post/pm me any questions!

Here's my Invidia Gemini, with Berk HFCs (also 200 CEL).

Not sure how much difference you would see with different Vendor HFCs,
I'd imagine they're pretty much the same.

So where's what the Invidia sounds like anyway.

Trooper, did you get a chance to dyno the car? Does it feel more responsive?
Also, is there drone?

I'm fine with a bit of hissing... :-)

Had to cancel my order - get this:

I ordered the Gemini exhaust and Invidia HFC's through Vividracing.com , checked out and paid by credit card.

Three days later, after I had heard nothing from them I sent an email to them about my order status.

Then, I get an email saying something like hi, thanks for ordering with us. We will have to charge an additional $550.00 for freight (to Australia).

Now, I know that shipping costs are high to the other side of the world; however, what's the point of having an interactive ordering system where the user can pick his shipping choice and the $ cost of it in the first place??!?

The total value of the order was $1450 and they had the guts to email me saying there is a balance of $550. Great salesmanship ---- noooot.

Anyway, lesseon learnt with Vividracing.

Unfortunately, no Gemini availability for Australia that would be significantly cheaper so I have chosen to the Exoticspeed RII pwr-si system instead. They manage to ship for $200. Copy or not - it's a good price, I like the sound (not too loud) and it's light too.

It's already shipped, expecting arrival in about 2 weeks (after customs clearance in AUS).

Will open a new thread and post review once it's done.

If anyone wants to sponsor me for a pre and post dyno feel free, haha. I'm in Sydney. There's a lot of people curious about the gains from the RII system.

Cheers.

it will sound great! the gemini sounds good with the cat converter. HFC will keep the tone about the same, it will just be little louder. I say do it.

they should fix that. when you are shipping overseas, it is best to just call and talk over the phone. Time difference is bad and you lose out on some sleep but it is the better way to do things.
