yup they are the 5zigens. I thought they only made wheels......lol:rofl2: They are WAY overpriced......the website I found with it sells for $2200..... :ughdance: Why would you not just go longtubes at that point?

$2200 titanium shorties... They look just like the stock ones with pretty welds. I would say it has the usefulness of a Kinetix manifold at twice the price.

if you research it actually, they look titanium but is actually just stainless steel with a bunch of welds. their excuse is that the piping is so tight, no machine can bend it tight enough so they just weld in small incremements.

This only exacerbates my argument further. I still think a mandrel bending machine could have done the job. Props to whoever wants to buy $2200 SS headers because it has a $hit ton of welds. Now, I would spend $2200or more for Titanium long tubes :)

bleh, i know we need to lose weight off our nose but $2200+ to shave maybe 10lbs off the headers.... meh lol.

Meh, my longtubes weighed like 12 pounds together.

You aren't saving much by going titanium.

True, just looked about both my boxes. My test pipes shipped at 11lbs and my headers box shows 19 lbs with gaskets, boxes and he had something else shipped in the box too so yeah....definitely not worth it.

I should rephrase that as "If I had $hit tons of cash burning in my pocket, titanium long tube header's can justify a $2200+ price, not welded up short steel headers."

When i bought my Z i already had Stillen G3 intakes, Stillen headers, and Stillen exhaust. I changed out the exhaust with ARK Grip TD's and ARK R-Spec TP's because the exhaust sounded crappy. From what im reading, the Stillen headers arent that great. Would it pay to change them out for a better designed pair of headers? Would the difference in power be significant enough to justify replacing them?

Whats your power to cost ratio? Cause long tubes are really the only way to go or wait until Z1 releases their Momentum replicas and see how they test. Cost unknown on the Z1 replicas as of yet but the long tube PPE or FI headers are 1k+ without install.. You'll gain maybe 5-10whp depending on your tuner. So...up to you.

Fearless_Z 02-06-2013 03:10 AM

Well i would go with long tubes but i have the ARK test pipes which were pretty costly. :/ so id probably lose a good deal of money going that route. Then again, i could sell the stillen headers and the ARK R Spec test pipes and probably come out ahead since i didnt have to buy the headers. I just dont want mt exhaust to be obnoxious, ya know?

bldg636 02-06-2013 03:59 AM

What are the gains of the FI long tube headers versus FI resonated test pipes or HFCs? What is the cost difference part for part?(understanding of course that the LTHs have a bigger cost of install)

They're all listed in the F.I. LTH's thread. :tiphat:

What about Z1 brand

Z1 Motorsports VQ Performance Headers

also are the HFC worth adding on (before seeing these I liked the Berks HFCs)

Z1 Motorsports VQ Performance Headers

Also is it worth it for the add on HFC's or are berks HFC's better

PharmDZ 11-26-2013 12:39 PM

I saw AMS had shorty headers but haven't been able to find anything using the search. Anyone ever try them out??

*edited*

Actually searched google and what I had found is that they're pretty much an exact copy of the Stillen headers. No wonder they're pricing them so cheap now! They just aren't moving product.

synolimit 11-26-2013 01:58 PM

Garageline sold me a "prototype" for them from someone. But it's just a eBay obx header. Fit perfect, and nice gains. Not everything needs to cost an arm and a leg.

Flybyenature 09-17-2014 11:47 AM

What you guys think about F.I LTH + Agency Power CBE

Rusty 09-17-2014 03:49 PM

I have the full F.I. set-up, with 12" resonators.

A little music for your ears. :D

Reviving this thread to see if any new options for combos are here. Anyone have vids of the R2C intakes with headers and CBE?

johnwiki 06-07-2015 11:29 AM

Id like to see if anyone had the dc headers and con comment on them.
