Boombop Shop Exhaust

I am currently at thinking about getting a Injen MR Tech. intake. Any input on this? Right now I got it priced for 562.40 at Auto & truck performance parts

The exhaust I am looking at is not the typical. I like the way it sounds and I have only seen one video on youtube for it. Has anybody else installed this or knows someone who has it installed? I just like the sound of it.

Buy the injen from the forum vendors. I've seen those go for less than 460 shipped.

I have the Boombop Shop Exhaust. I think I'm the only one of the forum with it. The installation is easy. It's a two-piece slip exhaust with no flanges, so it was quick. The youtube picture you have is of the first prototype. They changed it a little bit going with a bigger tip.

Below are some pictures and videos of my exhaust during and after the install at Z1.

I have nothing negative to say about this exhaust. You will not be disappointed. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Good luck buddy!

Thank you so much man. Nice to hear someone else has this set up. That video on youtube said stock cats and headers. Is it the first video that is just stock cats? What about headers? Takes a long time for me to view these b/c I am in Afghan at the moment. From what I can hear though sounds good. How much was the setup? I am glad you have nothing negative to say about it so that def. adds the confidence in purchasing this exhaust. Where you able to see what actual gains you got from the exhaust were?

No problem buddy. In the youtube video I had the G3 intakes and the exhaust. I called them directly to have them make it for me. I think I paid $1350 shipped. The last time I dynoed I put down 291. My next mods will most likely be TPs and a tune, so we'll see. I will also be dynoing on March 19 and will have the opportunity to compare it to other exhausts under the same conditions.

291 really? Hmm what kind of dyno did you use? I got down 285 stock. I believe you are gonna get a lot of props for this one, reason I decided to get this was b/c you don't hear too much of a rasp when you are getting on it. I got a big list of things I am getting with in the next 6 months and when I get home everything will be done so then off to the track.

DynoJet.....285 stock? That's very good. My baseline was 277. I don't think the Stillen G3 made much of a difference. That's mostly top end power and most effective when the car is in motion because of the CAI.

So you haven't decided between the HFCs and LTHs huh? Some people same that they make very similar power, but I think the LTHs dyno higher.
