Well, I don't have a 370z. My friend (red6spd) has one so I said wth and joined lol. I have an Accord 6MT

I know a decent amount about the VQ motors though and can say you will LOVE your full exhaust.

It might smooth once converted to RPM. Could be a glitch in interpolating by MPH with data from two different gears -- dunno, I'll play with it and try to fix when I get them.

Oh, and thanks again -- I appreciate it!

I apologize if this has been covered before, but can someone explain the design of these pipes? They certainly are unique, and I'm assuming the construction has to do with fluid dynamics to maximize flow and create a specific sound but they do look a bit odd.

so these would show greater gains on my Nismo over a standard 370z?
because 11hp is a pretty decent gain especially for the price.
and noob question, but what are post mafs tubes..
Im going to guess the piping from behind the MAF to the intake mani? or am i way off?

You are correct. It seems that with replacing the stock tubes and air filter with a drop-in you can gain around 8 whp. True the stillen CAI gains 17.5 at the top, but the install/filter cleaning requires bumper removal (not a big deal) as well as some dremel work on the core support (install). Many people on here are going with just hoses and drop-ins as their intake mod as the stock set-up is already pretty efficient. I think I may do the same. And you save at least $300 in the process.

excellent. and the drop in's are just a better flowing filter?
sorry, for sounding so ignorant on the subject. I'm just used to CAI.

The drop-in's flow better and the pipes provide for a smoother path of air inlet.
