Default Which exhaust???

Guys, Gals,

I am 4 weeks from getting some work done. I am torn between 2 exhausts systems. Pls give me your opinions.

1st, GTM Motorsports*::*EXHAUST*::*GTM SPEC 3" 370Z CAT-BACK

2nd, Nissan 370Z ARK GRIP True Dual Exhaust System -SUS

Remember one thing, I am going Turbo in 2 years and don't want to swap out the exhausts again. So I am looking to get an exhaust that can handle a Greddy or GTM Turbo.

Thx

Looking to get an exhaust that can handle the Turbo 2 years from now. Around 500RWHP and 440RWTQ

Supposedly the HKS HI POWER TI can work for turbo applications too. I installed it last night. Sounds great too

What do you Guys think of the Greddy Ti-C? I hear a lot of people say it has exhaust droning. Does the silencer help that?

I've heard it on a TT 370z and it is bliss...if you like loud, this is the way to go. You can't go wrong with the GTM exhaust either.

Remember though, turbos will reduce the volume of the exhaust because they effectively act as silencers dampening the exhaust volume coming from the exhaust ports of the engine.

Remember, we double welded our muffler caps for the purpose of customers going FI.

OP, I say if you're planning to go TT that soon, and you'll want/prefer 3" pipes to handle that, might as well go with the GTM setup, that way if you do go with the GTM TT kit, you know they will match up. Not to say others won't, but the less unnecessary doubt there is, the more you'll be.

Also, take into consideration you have the Nismo rear bumper... Which kits will fit with that vs the stock rear bumper... If any modification would be needed?

And as luck would have it... Check this thread out...

[Equinox] Install: GTM 3" Cat-back Exhaust

Between those 2 choices? GTM. They built some badass products for the Z.I went with their test pipes(a1 ) and was going to go all the way until FI came into play. But your going tt. I like GTM. I just heard be prepared to wait .id Order ahead. Also like that its 3".

Get the GTM, you'll come back to ARK's exhaust eventually.
