Nitrous

Has anyone ran nitrous on there 370 yet? I know I'll probably get flamed for this but I'm thinking about running a 75 or 100 shot at the drag strip

Some intakes are more prone to pooling than others. I would do my homework.

IMO nitrous isn't worth it, because it's temporary and not permanent. BUT if u feel like running nitrous, make sure not to overdo it and destroy your engine internals. For occasional uses on the drag strip, 75-100 shouldn't be a problem.

I'd do it if I didn't have plans to go boost. Nitrous isn't a bad thing...it just doesn't seem like it's a popular choice here.

It only works well if you shoot video during the race

Honestly my plan is to put the kit on, throw on the radials, run a ridiculous time and then sell the kit.

Not worth it then if thats your plans^^

If you are going to run N2O do what I did and thats buy every extra saftey part there was, because if you are going to run N2O you better do it safe..... Blow down tubes are a requirement for track use, also get bottle pressure guage and bottle heater and purge kit and some form of a tune and a switch pannel... you are going to loose money when you sell it big time!

I only paid 500 bucks for the whole kit. I'm gonna get the gauge and lean shut off switch too.

If you go bottle fed I'd invest in all safety measures such as a window switch etc. You won't find a lot of info on this site because it hasn't been done but keep us posted with your results. Consider it as being a Z pioneer.

I plan on doing a N2O setup this spring I will post results when I get them......

There has only been a few people who have gone this route on the 370Z... Most should be similar to the 350Z maybe just a little better gains and times at the track....

Anyone that flames you for wanting to run nitrous has no experience with it. You won't get a better cost effective boost in performance in any other manner.

I ran it in a 4 banger and it was so much fun (only a 50 shot). As others said just be careful. Better to spend more on safety equip like purge valves, blow downs, bottle warmers, WOT switches etc.

Our car should be able to support 100-150 shot (wet kit) pretty easily with some tuning.

Yes running a 100shot is very reliable when you get re tuned and have all the saftey extras... I had a sweet set up on my 350Z but never got to use it actually before parting out and getting the 370z.... cant wait to see what this does with boltons and a 100 shot should be 11's with good tires
