Default Fast Intentions Exhaust? Lower?

Hey Guys,

I just put my order in for an exhaust from Fast Intentions but does anyone know how much lower it sits that the stock exhaust. I have the nismo model, not sure if they are lower for any reason than the other z's. Thanks.

They are slightly lower... But the lowest point is in relation to the rear axel, so when the axel goes up, so will your exhaust. Meaning unless you get onto an amazingly instantly steep incline, (which you should approach @ a 45* angle anyways) Or hit a really sharply angled speed bump, you should be fine.

It's been brought up many times before in the F.I. exhaust thread. This is the latest:

What setup did you go with?

As of right now we are only 5-8 weeks out once the order is placed. I say this only because during the summer time our lead time can grow to almost 13 weeks. At the time the order is placed though I only require a $200 deposit. The remaining balance is not charged to you until your exhaust is built and ready to ship. Your exhaust system will be built in house most likely by "me"! All of our systems are hand built in house, this is the only way to ensure the highest quality.

As far as the lower concern, I have sold almost 275. Over 250 are installed and I can count on less than one hand of how many who have actually scraped. I myself have put hundreds of miles on test cars in various driving environments and never had an issue.

If you have any further questions, would like to discuss your options or would like to place an order, please do not hesitate to call me directly...

Thank you, Tony

The only issue I've encountered is being over zealous backing into a parking spot. The mufflers will hit the chock before the wheels. I put a superficial scrape in a muffler that way. Otherwise if you drive Z like any other low sports car, you'll be fine.
